Treatment of Advanced Stage Cancers describes newer options for treatment of advanced liver cancers; targeting of pancreatic cancers by silencing' RNA selective killing of tumour cells expressing hCG by a high affinity, high specificity antibody linked to curcumin.

Reviewed also are the next generation of recombinant immunotoxins; herbal formulations eliminating Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) in cervical cancer cells besides immune targeting of oncogenic proteins of HPV to achieve a therapeutic vaccine for carcinoma of cervix. The book discusses optimisation of antigens for anti-cancer vaccines and optimization of Dendritic cells and viral vectors for immunotherapy. Clinical and experimental results are reported on therapeutic benefits of cancers by Mycobacterium indicus pranii. (DCGI approved vaccine for leprosy marketed as Immuvac).

Other topics covered include treatment of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, Radiation-Enhanced Immunotherapy of Advanced cancers, Neem leaf glycoproteins regulating immune response in cancer and biology of metastasis of Head and Neck cancers. A new blood test for early diagnosis of Epithelial Ovarian Cancers is also described. The opening chapter by the Nobel Laureate David Baltimore presents elegantly the role of Micro RNAs in chronic inflammatory response and cancers.
